Comrades From The North
It is hard to believe but here we are at the third and final issue of the subscription year. Many thanks to all of you who have supported us with your subscriptions - we look forward to you staying on board in the next year. Subscription details are given in the accompanying flyer. The continued success of The Bridge lies in your hands as subscribers, contributors, information providers and photograph suppliers. Please continue to be as supportive as you have been this year. This issue does not include Michael Krogsgaards sessions but for those who enjoy these be assured that he will be in issue four in JulyWith Bob Dylan enjoying huge critical acclaim right now, his on-going touring activity producing yet more welcome surprises in song selections, a veritable feast of literature and the prospect of a series of re-releases of cleaned-up, expanded classic albums (eventually!!) it is truly a great time to be involved in this mad waltz of Dylan watching.
Once more our man has been nominated for the Nobel Prize for literature and the Grammy nominations just keep on coming, the latest being for Make You Feel My Love as best country song. There has been an interesting addition at the recent shows an Official Bob Dylan Merchandise Catalogue. The items included are caps, sweat shirts, photographs and much more. This is a new innovation!
An old contact of Dylan's died recently. Peter Alenov was the owner of a vintage guitar shop that served Dylan, amongst other famous names.
All that remains to be said is that we trust you enjoy this issue and, as we look forward to the next volume we hope that you'll join us for the ride.
And to each of you, may you climb on every rung ..........
